One of the biggest action heroes of the late 80s and early 90s is returning to fight crime on the silver screen, Robocop.
A sequel is in the works that takes place immediately following the first 1987 film, even though there were two additional films in 1990 and 1993, and then a reboot in 2014.
No actor is attached yet, but Abe Forsythe who directed Lupita Nyong’o zombie comedy Little Monsters is set to direct.
This is a huge leap in his film making career, as Little Monsters was made on a tiny budget, but was very well received.
Look for the Robocop sequel in 2020 or 2021.
