K-pop mega group BTS has been smashing records in the music world for quite some time, but they just obliterated a Guinness world record in another sphere, the app world.
The boy band just became the fastest users ever to pick up a million followers on TikTok, the wildly popular social media app for sharing videos.
They decided to join TikTok a bit late to the game, just in September, and within a lightning fast three hours and thirty-one minutes a million fans had already followed them.
For the record, they hit two million within thirteen hours as well, all a testament to their unrivaled global popularity.
They have got a ways to go before they claim the ‘most followed’ title though, Loren Grey rules the roost with over thirty-five million TikTok fans.
