Tanya Rad Wants to Go on a Tour of Ryan’s Childhood, Enlists Connie’s Help

All aboard the Atlanta Seacrest tour bus! Tanya Rad wants to retrace Ryan Seacrest’s childhood in Atlanta, Georgia, and enlisted the help of Ryan’s mom, Connie Seacrest, on-air on Wednesday, September 25. It all came about while chatting about the upcoming holidays and Ryan’s family team meeting.

“Connie, I was asking for Ryan’s help, but, I was like, ‘I don’t need Ryan, I have Connie on the ground in Atlanta,’” Tanya told Ryan’s "Ma" on-air, explaining that she wants to visit Atlanta to retrace memorable spots from Ryan’s childhood that he’s previously shared on-air, such as the Dunwoody High School football field; the church where Ryan would do candlelight service; the parking lot where Ry and his family buried their pet gerbil; and, not to mention, the basement where Ryan would “watch” The Little Mermaid.

“The basement is at another house,” Connie pointed out, to which Ryan hilariously added, “Well, we’ll have to talk to those people.”

Ryan also admitted that in elementary school he would "pop" in a Jolly Rancher to freshen his breath before meeting his girlfriend in the hallway for a smooch.

“How old were you when you kissed the girl at school? Obviously I don’t know that story!” Connie hilariously said after Tanya brought up the story. “ … I never heard about the Jolly Rancher!”

Connie then added that there’s a “complication” that could hinder the tour. Her phone line then dropped, leaving us all on the edge of our seats!

Listen back to the on-air moment above to hear more and stay tuned for the tour -- we're serious about going!
