Harry Styles' music has evolved tremendously since his days in One Direction and so has his sense of fashion.
He’s gone from a pretty understated dresser as a teenager to a full-blown Technicolor rock star in form-fitting paisley suits and wild prints.
He explains why in a new interview with Dazed Digital, where he is promoting being the face of the new Gucci unisex fragrance, Mémoire.
"I used to wear all black all of the time, but I realized dressing up is part of the show, if you will. Especially when performing," he says. "For all the people I have always admired and looked up to in music, clothes have always been a big part of the thing. Like Bowie, Elvis Presley. Just going on stage in a crazy suit with a bunch of sequins makes you feel good and then you want to play."
Rumor is Harry will be putting out new music in early 2020.
