Sisanie's Super Simple Spicy Garlic Edamame Snack Recipe

Yum — and SO simple! In the latest episode of Off-Air With Sisanie, we’re whipping up one of Sisanie’s most requested snack recipes: spicy garlic edamame!

The recipe is super simple and only takes a few minutes to recreate your favorite restaurant appetizers.

All you do is frozen edamame, garlic, toasted sesame oil, crushed red pepper, soy sauce and salt.

To start, boil water and in a separate pan, heat up oil. Then dice your garlic gloves and place the garlic on low heat to sauté. Once your water boils, add your edamame and cook for around 5 minutes.

“The secret with roasting garlic is you want to go kind of slow because you don’t want it to burn,” Sisanie adds in the video above, recommending about two minutes on low heat.

After a couple minutes, take your garlic off the heat and set aside. Test an edamame and once done, drain the water.

Using the same pan, combine the cooked edamame with toasted sesame oil, crushed red pepper to taste and soy sauce. Then add your garlic and mix together. Add salt in the end to taste if desired and you’re done!
