Octavia Spencer stars in the new horror thriller Ma, which is the first lead role for the Academy Award winner.
And she tells the Hollywood Reporter how having her name on top of the marquis impacted her job, she says: "The responsibility is different, but the preparation and level of commitment is the same."
And this was the prefect movie for Octavia’s headlining role for her, adding: "I’m a huge genre fan. I love psycho horror thriller. All of the above And I wanted to do something completely different (than what I’m known for)."
