Ever wonder what happened to Lady Gaga’s iconic meat dress that she bravely wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards? Did it rot, get tossed on the garbage, become BBQ?
Turns out, it still exists! Though, according to her Haus of Gaga fashion director Nicola, it’s more like a jerky dress these days.
It was initially refrigerated before being sent to a taxidermist to be preserved forever and you can now see it for yourself at her Haus of Gaga Las Vegas.
It’s just one of roughly twenty of her most legendary outfits and twice as many key accessories on display near her residency at the Park MGM Theater.
Her fashion director tells Billboard displaying these items made by other artists makes a ton of sense for Gaga, adding:
"She is the public face of a creative team. She's involved in everything. It's very much about collaboration and she respects everybody that works with her. From her wardrobe team to her makeup team to the production team we really do everything together."
