There are an untold number of trolls scouring the internet, but none quite as proud, high profile or quick-witted as Ryan Reynolds.
He stars in the new movie Pokémon Detective Pikachu, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that Ryan trolled the entire Pokémon fan community by tweeting a link that sent you to a supposed leak of the entire film posted on YouTube.
If you clicked on it, the actual Pokémon movie began to stream for about the first minute until it cut away to a scene of Pikachu dancing to 80s music where he kept dancing and dancing and never stopped for the full 90 minutes.
And the gag worked, since it quickly became a top trending video on YouTube.
Thankfully, if you want to see the real Pokémon Detective Pikachu it’s in theaters today.
