Getting to collaborate with Taylor Swift is a dream come true for almost any artist.
So how did Brendon Urie first get word she wanted to team up. on their new mega hit “ME!?” Turns out, it started with a simple text message.
"We were a tour, and I got a text from her," he tells Entertainment Tonight. "She texted me and said 'Can I call you?' I said 'Absolutely.' So she sent me over the song and said, 'We need to finish this together. I don't have a bridge, I don't have a couple other parts. I said 'Great.' From that point on, for the rest of the tour, the song was just stuck in my head—it's a beautiful earworm of a song. About a month later we met in the studio, finished the song together."
