It’s been just over three years now since Prince sadly passed away, but he isn’t done putting out music the world’s never heard. An entire album of unreleased demos has been announced aptly titled, Originals.
The 14 song tracklist is comprised of material Prince wrote for other artists from The Bangles to Sheila E. to The Time.
What's interesting is that some of these demos ended up being the exact songs these artists used expect they just replaced Prince’s vocal track with theirs.
Other artists used Prince's demo as a guide and rerecorded all the music and this new album will feature a bit of both.
Several of the offerings ended up being hits including The Bangles' "Manic Monday," Sheila E.’s "The Glamorous Life" and Sinead O’Conner’s "Nothing Compares 2 U."
Originals is out everywhere June 21st.
