K-pop supergroup BTS’ latest album Map of the Soul: Persona just debuted at No. 1 in the states, which is not only a major accomplishment for a Korean boyband, it puts them in rare company for any group regardless of where they're from.
According to Billboard, they have now had three different albums reach No. 1 in less than eleven months Love Yourself: Tear last June, followed by Love Yourself: Answer in September and now Map of the Soul: Persona.
To find a group who achieved that at a faster pace yo would have to go all the way back to 1967, when The Monkees did it in under ten months.
