Lorde's 116-stop world tour finally wrapped up last week in Mexico City and she is now turning her attention towards the creation of her third album, eventually.
Though it may be quite some time before it’s done, it may push her music in a more stripped down direction.
Since she is officially off social media, Lorde sent an email to her fans laying out her plans, writing in part:
“I haven’t started properly on the next record yet, and I’m not sure how long it’ll be. But I’ve been teaching myself how to play piano, and here and there little bits come out. I think this next one will probably be born around the piano in my house, me and my friends, keeping it simple. But we’ll see.”
In the meantime, she added she is happy just to be at home living quietly and fans will hear from her soon enough!
