If you have been counting down the days to Nicki Minaj’s new album, you’re going to have to count a few more.
Queen, which was slated to arrive this Friday will now be released next Friday, though the reason should make you happy.
She hit a snafu with sample clearance on a song with somebody she calls one of the greatest rappers ever.
What she didn’t realize was this rapper had sampled Tracy Chapman, so she has had to clear Tracy’s track as well.
Nicki loved the song too much to leave it off Queen, so it sounds like the delay should be more than worth it!
Queen arrives August 17th.
