Happy 1-year, Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa! The cohosts are celebrating their 1-year work anniversary today, Tuesday, May 1.
Last year, on May 1, 2017, Ripa announced on-air that our very own Seacrest would officially be joining the Live family as her new co-host after a total of 67 celebrities helped guest host the show following former cohost Michael Strahan‘s exit.
In honor of the big day — which also marks Kelly and her husband Mark Consuelos’ 22nd wedding anniversary — the duo exchanged gifts.
Kelly gifted Seacrest a juice “cake” and he gave her flowers.
Chris Pratt also delivered them a sweet video message. The Jurassic Park actor was Ryan and Kelly’s first guest together. RuPaul was also on the show today and gave them a gift.
“One year is paper,” he told the hosts. “I actually have a paper gift for you. It’s the standup RuPaul full-body gift for taking pictures and doing whatever you want with it,” he added while presenting Kelly and Ryan with a massive cardboard cutout of himself.
