Not all veggies and fruits are equal. Environmental Working Group released it’s 2018 Dirty Dozen list and we’re officially washing our produce five more times.
According to the report, almost 70 percent of non-organic samples tested positive for at least one pesticide. For example, a single strawberry sample harbored 22 different pesticide and pesticide breakdown residues (!!!)
Researchers also found DDT, a neurotoxic insecticide banned in the U.S., in an alarming number of spinach samples.
