Wait, this is actually such a cool concept… so there’s this new nightlife trend called “listening bars”. Instead of going out to like loud clubs where you’re screaming over music, these places are all about actually hearing the music.
Think super high-end speakers, vinyl records, curated playlists, dim lighting, cocktails…and everyone is just vibing and listening together.
It’s inspired by these Japanese spots where people would go just to listen to records, and now it’s popping off in cities like Paris, London, New York and LA!
We have a few here…”Only the Wild Ones” on Abbott Kinney in Venice, “Darling” in West Hollywood…”Gold Line” in Highland Park…”Sunset and Vinyl” in Hollywood.
This seems perfect right now when nightlife is trying to make a comeback before the World Cup and Olympics.
It like a chiller, elevated night out where you can still be social but not exhausted by it…low lighting, amazing sound, good wine… it’s giving cool, grown-up nightlife energy.
