Do You Have Superstitions With Your Favorite Sports Teams?

It's been a MAJOR year for sports here in Los Angeles - with the Lakers becoming the NBA Finals champions just a couple weeks ago, and now with the Dodgers making the World Series (where they are winning the series 1-0 against the Tampa Bay Rays currently!)

If you're an LA sports fan like my family and I are, then you've probably been equal parts excited and stressed out over the high-stakes games we've endured! But you also probably have adopted some superstitions with your teams.

We talked last week on the air about how my husband Michael actually used to have a more serious superstition with the Dodgers - when he came home from work and the Dodgers were playing, he WOULD NOT take off his work shoes!! Sometimes he would keep his work shoes on for hours after getting home from work!

He even once wore the less than comfortable shoes to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, which was definitely not his best idea. But the Dodgers were playing! He couldn't let them down.

We had someone call in last week explaining that they sit in the exact same spot on their couch for every one of their team's games, if they are watching from home, and if things aren't going well for the team at the time, they will either change into a different jersey/merch or move where they are sitting to switch up the luck.

In my household, other than Michael's former shoes superstition (he doesn't wear his work shoes anymore now, thanks to working from home) the most superstitious we get is that I make sure the kids, Michael and I are all dressed in that team's gear!

Whether it's Chargers jerseys, Dodgers shirts or Lakers jerseys (the twins just got their first ones!) we're rocking them on game day!

Do you have any intense superstitions with your teams? I want to hear 'em! Leave a Yap below so we can chat.
