Dua Lipa and James Corden Sing About The 'New Rules' For COVID-19 Dating

Z100's Jingle Ball 2018 - Show

It's safe to say that this entire year has required some "new rules" - right?

Don't leave your house without a mask. Stay 6 feet away from others. No large gatherings. Always have hand sanitizer ready. If you want to go to a restaurant, you have to eat outside. And... dating? Well that has it's own whole new set of rules (that I am selfishly VERY glad I don't have to deal with personally.)

To make it a little easier - and funnier - for you, Dua Lipa and James Corden sang about all of these new rules of 2020 while parodying her songs "Don't Start Now" off her latest album and, you guessed it, "New Rules" from 2017.

Watch the pair hilariously sing about 2020's new rules for a little comic relief - and get the new versions of the songs stuck in your head so you'll nevvvver forget:

Some highlights from the songs? When Dua and James point out your first dates are *always* on Zoom now, and when they sing, "there's no bars, there's no school, pounding claws in a kiddie pool."

Another incredible moment is of course when they literally lay out the new rules for everyone, which includes, "if you hit it off, watch off if they start to cough," and "6 feet apart now baby."

They also remind us that there's a new third base, which is seeing the lower half of their face.

Dua and James, this is just the kind of content we need right now. I know this year has been tough on... literally everyone... but sometimes being able to smile and laugh a little about it is exactly what we need. And I certainly was both smiling and laughing through this entire video.

What "new rules" did they miss?!
