Teachers Can Get Free Coffee And Donuts From Krispy Kreme This Week

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. Faces Shareholder Lawsuits

Is there any simple pleasure greater than the first bite of a perfectly still-warm Krispy Kreme original glaze donut?

Oh, sorry for making your mouth water and making you crave one of those perfect donuts, but, it's true!

And this week, Krispy Kreme is honoring some heroes who deserve a LOT of recognition: teachers. Yep, teachers, there's a free donut in your future. And not only a free donut, but also a free cup of coffee, which I am *sure* could come in handy as you prepare for or kick off the new school year.

Regarding the donut and coffee giveaway for teachers, Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme said:

“Education is going to be very different this school year and more challenging and important than ever... From teachers and tutors to parents and coaches we want to thank everyone who is helping our kids to keep learning in these tough times no matter where the ‘classroom’ is.”

From now until August 14th, educators can stop by their local Krispy Kreme and receive a free glazed donut and coffee with valid identification.

In addition, TODAY, August 11th, Krispy Kreme is giving away a free "Straight-A Dozen" with the purchase of any dozen at participating locations. The hope is that customers will gift their favorite educators with this special dozen box! It doesn't have to be your own teacher who you gift this to (since, you know, here in LA we're still in distance learning!) but you could give it to your teacher sister, neighbor or friend!

I love them so much for doing something special for the teachers in all of our lives who have worked SO hard during this pandemic to keep kids learning. For those who are adapting to an extended distance learning reality, thank you. For those returning to the classroom this fall, thank you. For those who have gone above and beyond (all of you, really), THANK YOU!

Send me a Yap below shouting out the teacher in your life who deserves a little extra love!! I'll send them another Yap back!
