Man Takes Girlfriend On A Crazy Bike Ride For The Sweetest Reason

While you may have a boyfriend who likes to bike, it's likely not every day that he takes you on a looong and wild bike ride. Especially when you're starting to get over it.

But one Texas man had the BEST idea ever when he took his then-girlfriend on a long bike ride and used a biking app to make something incredibly special with the route tracker: he made their route spell out the words "marry me."

The couple, Jon Blaze and Thao Nguyen reportedly met on Valentine's Day in 2016 (adorable) and have been together ever since. They both also share a passion for cycling. They love cycling so much, in fact, that they share an Instagram account @cycling.couple.

“We ride together at least twice a week. We also lead multiple social rides in Houston,” Jon told an ABC affiliate.

Jon planned the ride for back in March and took Thao on a 15.7 mile ride which, at first, kind of annoyed Thao... until she realized what was happening.

“I went from being so annoyed by all the crazy turns we did to being completely shocked and with the biggest smile on my face."

It's fitting that the cycling couple also had a bike-themed engagement shoot.

The entire proposal made its way to Reddit, where one user commented that if Thao had put up with Jon's insane route that day, then "she's a keeper for sure." I can definitely agree with that! Sure, a 15.7 mile ride for someone who loves cycling might not be the craziest thing, but one that is literally spelling out words?! Yeah, that's enough to really throw someone off.

This is such a unique and sweet way to propose - do any of you have proposal stories quite like this?!
