You Have To See Angela Aguilar's Cover Of 'Shallow'

This week, GRAMMY Reimagined released a new video of GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominee, Angela Aguilar performing an incredible cover of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's song "Shallow" from A Star Is Born.

Obviously you have heard the song by now (because if you haven't, where on earth have you been??) but this version is definitely worth getting the song stuck in your head all over again for.

If you're not familiar with the GRAMMY Reimagined series, it's a series of videos featuring artists taking on their favorite GRAMMY-winning songs or artists and bringing a new take to the songs.

Just take a couple minutes out of your day and watch this version of the song that lived permanently in our brains for months on end:

If you just watched this and thought, "wow she is incredible" followed by "how do I not know more about Angela Aguilar?" then you are definitely not alone.

Here's what we know about Angela, though, to get you up to date.

Angela was actually born right here in Los Angeles, to parents Pepe Aguilar and Aneliz Álvarez-Alcala, while her father was on tour, and she has a dual citizenship with United States and Mexico.

Angela's family is incredibly musical, in fact they are known as “La Dinastía Aguilar”. Obviously you may know her father just by his name, but her paternal grandparents were also entertainers: they are Mexican singer-actors Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre.

It's safe to say Angela knew what she was going to do from a very young age, and actually started releasing music at just age 12, she has since toured with her family members, and her first solo album came out last year and was produced by her musical father.

Basically, it's no shocker that Angela has so much talent, and her family is the ultimate family business.
