Can 4-Month-Old Babies Go To Football Games?

My husband Michael and I have always been HUGE Chargers fans, so you can imagine how exciting it was for us when they made the move from San Diego to Los Angeles and we realized we would be able to attend SO many more games.

We went to most games last season, but we were pregnant throughout basically the entire season! Most of which I was still hiding my pregnancy during. And this year we have Aiza and Maxon to consider.

So suddenly we've realized that it's probably not in our best interest to be taking 4-month-old babies to a Charger's game this weekend.

Life sure comes at you fast when you're a new parent!

I've been a season ticket holder for over a decade, and this is the FIRST home opener I will have missed in over 10 years. TEN YEARS!

Of course people have suggested the option of leaving the babies at home with my mom or with our nanny, but I just don't think I'm ready to leave them for that amount of time yet! Football games aren't just the game, its the traffic getting there and back annnnd a tailgate.

We do have the baby headphones for the kids that they can wear at concerts, but it still feels like it's too early to bring them to the stadium.

I have so many memories over the years at Chargers games, but I have to say the home opener last year (where this picture above is from!) may have been the most special... this was also the day we found out we were pregnant.

We didn't know, though, that we would be having TWINS yet!

Even though we won't be at the stadium this year, you better believe this family of 4 will be watching our Chargers and cheering them on from the couch come Sunday!

GO BOLTS!
