It's so rare that we get a real look inside Sandra Bullock's life as a mother, but she has recently opened up about life as a mom of two and if you're a mother of multiple kids OR have siblings, you're totally going to understand what she is talking about.
As the youngest sibling of FOUR, I can definitely relate to her comments about her kids, Laila, who is 5 and a half, and Louis who is 8.
If you remember, Sandra adopted Louis back in 2010 and adopted Laila in 2015 when she was 3-years-old.
While talking with Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show, she said Louis wanted a little sister, but now "there are moments when they want to kill each other."
And I mean, right?! If you can't name a handful of times that you and your siblings or your kids were just absolutely going at it and fighting like CRAZY, then you have an oddly well-behaved family.
Aside from wanting to go after each other sometimes, Sandra says that Louis is definitely a protective older brother but that he lied to protect Laila recently and it gave him a guilty conscience:
“She did something — I won’t say what it was — but I tried to get it out of him because he’s very honest. And he was like, ‘She didn’t do it. Maybe she did this,’ and kept coming up with different scenarios,” the Oscar winner, 53, recalled. “Then we put him to bed and he’s like, ‘I don’t feel well. I have this tickling in my stomach. I have to tell you something.’ I said, ‘Okay, what it is?’ He goes, ‘I can’t tell you because I just like her so much.’ ”
Cutest. 8 year old. Ever??
Yep.
Of course the little sister is the one getting in a little trouble and really pushing the limits, that's just what us little sisters do! But it sounds like Sandra has it pretty figured out with these two, and seeing her as a mom is the sweetest thing!
