If you haven’t seen Nathan Apodaca’s “Dreams” TikTok video yet, you’re in for a treat. The 37-year-old from Idaho went viral after sharing the contagiously feel-good TikTok video on social media and has since surpassed 45 million views.
In the video, Nathan is skateboarding down an Idaho highway, sipping Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice right out of the bottle and lip syncing to Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 hit “Dreams.”
Nathan shared with Ryan Seacrest on-air on Wednesday, October 7, he was skateboarding because his car broke down. After the video went viral, fans started donating money to Nathan for him to get a new car. The viral superstar has since received well over $15,000 in donations as well as a truck from Ocean Spray.
“I’ve been blessed to get in touch with a realtor in Idaho … [and] with the donations and everything I was able to bless my family and those around me with over — I can’t even remember — I think it was like $15,000 worth of gifts and a little bit extra for me to throw in on a place or a down payment on a place so hopefully I’ll be getting into a house soon,” Nathan, who currently lives in an RV outside his brother’s house, updated Seacrest.
