The first group of artists coming to the 50th anniversary Woodstock Festival have been announced and it has several legends that were relevant when the original festival went down including some that even played it.
Carlos Santana, who put on one of Woodstock’s most legendary sets back in 1969 is on the slate, as are returning acts Edgar Winter and Arlo Guthrie.
Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band are also booked, as well as 70s rockers The Doobie Brothers with plenty more to come.
Woodstock's "A Season of Song and Celebration" goes down August 16th and 17th in Bethel Woods, New York.
