Gigi Hadid will no longer be walking in the 2017 Victoriaโs Secret Fashion Show. The model tweeted the news abruptly on Thursday, November 16.
โIโm so bummed I wonโt be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Canโt wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already canโt wait for next year! ๐ x,โ Gigi wrote. (In August, she posted an Instagram revealing sheโd been invited back to the show.)
Her sister, Bella Hadid, and the rest of the Victoriaโs Secret models have already made their way to China.
A few models, however, have run into a snafu.
Russian models Irina Sharipov, Julia Belyakova and Kate Grigorieva, along with Ukrainian model Dasha Khlystun, were reportedly denied Chinese visas ahead of their trip to Shanghai and will be forced to miss the show.
