Bachelorette’s Rachel Lindsay couldn’t be more smitten with her new fiancé Bryan. The couple called in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, August 9, just two days after the world watched them get engaged on the season 13 finale of The Bachelorette.
Lindsay — who also told the remaining two contestants Eric and Peter that she loved them — shared that her relationship with Bryan has gotten better with every day.
“Going in to the proposal and knowing I was going to say yes to Bryan — if he was going to propose to me — I was excited,” she recalled. “But, there was also a lot of fear. As I sit here today I don’t have that fear. We are just so excited to start our lives together and I know him so much better than I even did at that moment and it’s only gotten better.”
So much so, the couple are already thinking ahead when it comes to their relationship.
When Sisanie commented that their babies will be so cute, Lindsay agreed, telling us “I think so too.” Bryan also chimed in, adding: “I am a lucky man.”
The couple have decided that moving forward they’re focusing on themselves and not past contestants, specifically fan favorite Peter whom some felt Rachel left in the dust.
“I’m sure he does,” Bryan said when asked if he thinks Peter still has feelings for Rachel. “It’s pretty hard not to love this woman. She’s the total package. [But] at the end of the day, I’m the one that is with her. I could care less what the other feelings the other guys have.”
