Justin Bieber Returns with 'Yummy,' First Song From Upcoming New Album

Justin Bieber is officially BACK and kicking off 2020 with some long-awaited new music — it's a new decade and finally a new Bieber era.

Bieber shared his new song, "Yummy," the first offering from his forthcoming new album which is due out sometime in 2020. Fans first got a taste of the track in his "#BIEBER2020" YouTube video, as well as in the trailer for his new YouTube documentary Justin Bieber: Seasons.

"Yummy" is an R&B — or R&Bieber as he once put it on Instagram — song all about his lady. He sings, "I'm elated that you are my lady/ Yeah, you got that yummy-yum/ That yummy-yum, that yummy-yummy."

Justin last released an album back in 2015 — Purpose. Since then, he's appeared on several collaborations and remixes, teaming up with artists including Ed Sheeran, Dan + Shay, Billie Eilish, DJ Khaled, Luis Fonsi, Post Malone, DJ Snake, Major Lazer and more.

"Yummy" comes on the heels of announcing his new documentary. The 10-episode doc will take fans through the process of creating his first new album in four years, as well as give a glimpse into his private life. Seasons promises to show never-before-seen footage of his wedding to Hailey Bieber and more. Fans can watch the premiere on Monday, January 27 at 12pm ET/9pm PT, followed by new episodes each Monday and Wednesday at noon ET.

During a recent YouTube video, Bieber spoke a little about what fans can expect from his forthcoming new album. He said, "I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I'm at in my life." He added, "It's the music that I've loved the most of anything I've done."

Bieber also revealed a list of 2020 North American tour dates. The tour kicks off in May in Seattle, and takes Justin across the country, stopping in cities including Portland, San Diego, Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Houston, Nashville, Miami, Philadelphia and more, before wrapping up in September at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
