The holiday season can be a tough time for parents, and not just because they have to get the perfect gifts for their kids. During that time, school is out for winter break and with children around the house, that last week of December can feel like one of the longest of the year. Moms and dads are usually pretty tired those days and always trying to come up with ways to keep their kids busy. Well one genius father not only came up with a creative manner to keep his children occupied, but he managed to have it happen all while he got a little shuteye. His wife stumbled onto the scene and took a picture of it, sharing it on Facebook.
In the post, she explained that her husband had told her, "I'll keep the kids so you can grocery shop in peace," then she came home to him asleep on the couch with the kids sitting in front of the sofa holding sketch pads. She said, "I'm pretty sure he's the most brilliant man I've ever known. He has them doing 'realism art' while he 'poses' AKA naps. The winner gets a chocolate."
Commenters were wowed by his ingenuity, calling him a "genius" who exhibits "pro level" parenting. Others though didn't think it would work for them, noting, "My kids would paint me with toothpaste and sprinkle Doritos crumbs on me."
