Lady Gaga Delivers Emotional & Powerful Speech After Grammy Win

Lady Gaga Wins A Grammy 2019

Lady Gaga took home several Grammy Awards this year including Best Song Written for Visual Media for "Shallow" and Best Solo Pop Performance for "Joanne." And early on in the show, "Shallow" with Bradley Cooper also took home the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and after tearfully accepting the award, Gaga gave a powerful and emotional speech.

After thanking God and her family, Gaga said, "I just want to say I'm so proud to be part of a movie that addresses mental health issues. They're so important and a lot of artists deal with that, and we gotta take care of each other. So, if you see somebody that's hurting, don't look away. And if you're hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody, and take them up in your head with you. I love you, thank you so much to the Grammys."

Earlier in the night, Gaga also tweeted about her other Grammy wins. She shared with fans, "I'm not gonna be able to wear any makeup tonight. We just won our first of Grammy nominations for the night. I'm in tears with honor and gratitude. Thank you @RecordingAcad #Grammys #Grammy and my co-writers and Bradley I love you so much thank you."

The pop superstar/actress also shared of her "Joanne" win, "A Grammy for Joanne is more than me & my family could ever dream of. I sang that version in one take, & poured my entire life & soul into it. Thank you so much for this gift I am completely shocked. 2nd Grammy win of the night I am so overwhelmed by this kindness."

Meanwhile, Gaga also won a BAFTA on Grammy night and although Bradley Cooper accepted the award for the both of them in London, Lady G gave an acceptance speech of her on social media. She said, "I can’t believe we just won Best Original Music @BAFTA‘s. I wish so much I was there but am at the Grammy’s to show them our love as well. We made a film about music. This means the world to me. Thank u to all our fans we love u so much, we wouldn’t be here without u."

In Cooper's speech, he thanked both Lady Gaga and his girlfriend Irina Shayk. The actor said (via Daily Mail), "I got to fulfill a dream I never thought would happen. I share this with Lady Gaga tonight, the music was the heartbeat of this film." He added, "I also need to thank Irina for putting up with me while I was trying to make music in our basement for a year."

Congrats to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper!
