You never know what you're going to get when you invite Taylor Swift to your wedding - I imagine most people just expect nothing at all, because, you know, she's Taylor Swift, international pop star and all.
But for one lucky couple this weekend, they got a little Swift surprise - a bottle of champagne from Taylor herself!
The couple, Edward and Margaret McNoble, were married this weekend in New York City and were shocked when they were informed by the venue that they had a special delivery of Dom Perignon.
The note attached to the bottle of champagne said: "Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy! Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor"
Of course the newlyweds were excited to receive a gift from Taylor, especially being that her music was a huge part of their ceremony and reception.
The couple walked in to her song "Welcome To New York" (you know, being New Yorkers and all!) and shared their first dance as a couple to "Love Story". So sweet!
“When we got to the wedding venue, they told us, ‘There [is] a special gift upstairs for you from a very special person,’” the New York-based newlyweds tell Us Weekly. “It was awesome. It was such a great day. With all the moving parts, this was a great surprise! To get a bottle of Dom is a very nice gift, and then to see it’s from Taylor Swift is an even better gift!”
And Taylor Swift has a history of making fans' weddings extra special - she has shown up at some, sent notes to others and sent flowers to a couple who was recently engaged.
