Surprise! Cheat Codes will also be performing at the 2017 sold-out #KIISJingleBall in Los Angeles on December 1. Matt from the trio phoned in to On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, October 27, to make the big announcement.
The DJs join previously announced performers Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, Sam Smith, Demi Lovato, Logic, Niall Horan, Kesha, Liam Payne, Halsey and Charlie Puth.
The threesome, who collaborated with Demi on hit track “No Promises,” also dished to us about the unique gift that Demi gave them — tattoos from celeb tattoo artist Bang Bang.
“We haven’t gotten the tattoos yet. We are getting them next week and it’s a pretty interesting gift,” Matt said. “We are all going to get tattoos. They aren’t going to be matching — we thought maybe that would be a little too far — but it’s a good conversation starter.”
The only issue? Matt had to get permission from his parents.
“I had to tell my parents because they’re not really a tattoo family and I was like, ‘Demi’s getting me it, I have to get it, I can’t say no!’”
