And just like that, another act has been added to the star-studded Wango Tango lineup.

The Backstreet Boys are now scheduled to take the main stage alongside previously announced artists including Katy Perry, Hailee Steinfeld, Maroon 5, Zedd, and special guests Miley Cyrus and Alessia Cara. Immediately after the announcement Wednesday morning, BSB's Nick Carter pulled over at a grocery store parking lot to FaceTime On Air with Ryan Seacrest and rejoice over the pop collective's return to the Wango stage for the fourth time.

"We found out like a couple of days ago, and we were just like so excited because it's been a while since we performed at Wango Tango," Carter said. "It's like the biggest stage format in my opinion, so we're excited about that."

The Backstreet Boys are in the middle of their 26-date residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino's The Axis theater in Las Vegas. The show sees the revival of their older hits including "Larger Than Life," "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart," and "Shape of My Heart."

"It feels like it's back in '99-2000. All the girls are coming out and having a night out with us and it's just mayhem again," he said. "Vegas breathed new life into us. So every day we're up there is craziness!"

You can see the Backstreet Boys perform at Wango Tango at the StubHub Center in Carson, California on May 13. You can purchase tickets here.
