A fitness blogger named Angi Fletcher took to Instagram to share how much posture matters when it comes to taking photos.
In the side-by-side pics, Fletcher shows off her belly “4 months post baby” and again “3 seconds later.”
“On the left I am almost 4 months postpartum and on the right is 3 seconds later after I changed my posture,” she wrote in the caption. “Your core is everything. It holds your gut which is your second brain • it holds emotions, food, human life, muscle, fat, grief and joy || these photos were taken 3 seconds apart to show the importance of posture and breath.”
Fletcher posted the comparison shots to make a point. “So many times we look at pictures on social media and compare our worst posture to strangers best posture (or in a lot of cases photoshop or surgery),” she added.
Fletcher concluded her post by encouraging followers to “engage your core throughout any season in life including your whole pregnancy.”
