Haaan! French Montana stopped by On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, August 15, and explained exactly how his signature “haaan” sound came about.
“That’s like [when you’re] in the club and I was performing and someone was trying to have a full conversation with me,” French said. “Like when I’m in the club sometimes people are drunk talking to you and you can’t hear nothing you’re just like ‘haaan.’”
The “Unforgettable” rapper also dished on his love life, revealing that he’s single and focused on work.
