When you're Selena Gomez, you don't *have* to have a wild and crazy 25th birthday bash.
In fact, staying in with close friends is probably way more fun.
And that's exactly what Selena did to ring in her 25th year this weekend!
Really, what's better than sitting on your counter in a comfy outfit with not one but TWO birthday cakes and being surrounded by balloons?
Not. Much.
Selena shared a message to fans thanking them for all the love and then shared another photo of the people she celebrated with, writing simply "my people"
If you were hoping for a sighting of Sel's boyfriend The Weeknd (or Abel, as she calls him), he was in Paris playing a show that night and wasn't at her party, but we have heard that he jetted back from that show to be with her over the weekend.
Seriously, how sweet is that!
Selena also shared a link on Twitter where she asked her friends and family to donate to Lupus research rather than shower her with gifts, if you would also like to donate:
