Chris "Ludacris" Bridges is back for another heist in Fate of the Furious, the latest installment in the massive Universal Pictures franchise, out this Friday (April 14).

For the eighth film, which is the first major Hollywood film to be shot in Cuba since restrictions were eased in 2016, Ludacris told On Air with Ryan Seacrest that the team upped the ante by having a different type of car chase.

"Submarines. I don't think it gets any better. This is the first submarine car chase you'll ever see in a movie," he said. "It's craziness, and my character finally gets a tank provided by the United States government, so I'm happier than I've ever been. I asked [Vin Diesel] the other, there's literally a higher power controlling this franchise because they do seem to get better and better."

Ludacris goes on to explain how the film has evolved from car chases to full throttle heists featuring some of the biggest Hollywood stars including Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson,  Kurt RussellCharlize TheronHelen Mirren, and Scott Eastwood. While working with Theron, who will portray the villain, the rapper learned how she stays grounded.

"Believe it or not, she told me she used to get so deep into character. Sometimes, the way that she balances it, she goes to her trailer and watches reality television," he said.

During his interview, Luda also talked about his CGI abs in his recently released "Vitamin D" music video. The Internet ripped apart his fake abs -- just like he planned. "It's not even controversy. It's that people don't remember that I do all types of crazy things in my videos like put my head on a baby's body, you know what I'm saying?" he said. "I think people just want to talk about something, and I'm perfectly fine with them talking about my abs because that's pretty much why I did it."
