Former One Direction singer Niall Horan stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and delivered a promotional performance of his latest single, "Slow Hands," earlier this week.

Horan ditched his guitar and gave an impassioned performance of the stomp-laden track with a live band at his flank. During his live rendition, the Irish singer dropped a little bit of two-step on stage, which was lit with bands of rainbow LED lights.

During an interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Horan said "Slow Hands" is the "most out there" song on the album because he "wanted to try something different." He also revealed that the rest of the album features a lot of acoustic arrangements like "This Town" and "other flavors of music that [he's] into."

"Slow Hands" and "This Town" are off his as-yet-untitled album, due out later this year.
